Nice cushions
I am very flat-footed. My feet have very little, almost nonexistent arch. A doctor once saw me and commented my foot was “flat like a boat”, not kidding.Naturally my feet and lower back don’t have good shock absorption. I can’t stand for a long period of time without having knee and heel pain.That’s why I like these heel cushions. I like them so much I bought multiple pairs and put them in different shoes. They absorbed the shock and impact well.The slim, “tapered end” design allows me to put these into pretty much any shoes. The fact I don’t have to trim these is nice too.These cushions didn’t eliminate the heel pain completely but they do help quite a bit.These cushions don’t adhere well to dress shoes, especially the ones with smooth leather soles. The cushion would slide forward and I had to pull them back from time to time.Other than the slipping issue, I think they are very nice cushions and highly recommended.

Not for long day of walking.
These work very well as far as the cushion on my heel. The 3-star is for them slipping inside my shoe. They do not stay in an area on the shoe and can slip when putting them on. This also makes it easier for them to be transferred from shoe to shoe, which I love. I found that it added more pressure on the balls of my feet because it has me at a slip angle as if my heel is raised, leaning me forward.

Great support and relief
These saved my ankles after I wore cowboy boots with no support and strained my ankle. I had to wear only sneakers for a month and found these to put in my sneakers to give me cushion for the strained ankle. However, I liked the support so much I started using them in a lot of my shoes. I can even wear the original cowboy boots comfortably with these inserts. They are so easy to use and switch from different shoes, I highly recommend them.I keep a set in my walking shoes and have them on subscription to replace every 3 months. Sometimes they slip a bit, but then I know it is time to replace. They make all my shoes more comfortable and some unwearable ones wearable that I don’t mind buying more every few months.

Very cushioning
I buy these all the time for all my shoes and boots. I always wear out tge heels of shoes and sock. These definitely help ! No more sore heals!

Useless and confusing
I actually bought these to give me a slight lift in my flats, as they were rubbing on my ankle and giving me discomfort. In that regard, it initially helped slightly, but went flat by lunchtime.However, the part that has forced me to give this such a low rating – there is absolutely no adhesive or way to secure this in the shoe, and since it is only for the heel, it’s free to slide around throughout the shoe, and usually ends up wedged underneath my arch. I’ve spent the whole morning constantly digging around in my shoe to push it back to the heel. This renders the insert completely useless. I’m not sure what the game plan was, or how they intended for these to remain in place? I really wish I could get some feedback from the five star reviewers, maybe I’m doing something wrong?!

I bought these for a pair of sneakers I loved but were too flat. Added them to the heel, felt comfortable and fixed the ‘falling backwards’ feeling, and I got to keep the fun sneakers! Definitely recommend.
