  Nice Style, but Details Miss the Mark
  I really wanted to love this athletic dress from Blooming Jelly, but unfortunately it just didn’t work for me. The black and white color block design is super flattering – especially for curvier shapes – and definitely has a slimming effect, which I appreciated. The fit in size L was true to size and comfortable overall.However, the built-in bra was a bit of a letdown. While it’s fine for light to maybe moderate activities, it doesn’t offer enough support for anything more intense – or for those of us with a larger chest. I also wasn’t a fan of the separate shorts – they aren’t built in, which makes them feel like an afterthought, and the thick waistband creates a visible outline underneath the dress that takes away from the sleek look – not a fan of that. The shorts do have pockets, so that was a convenient addition.I found the material to be just alright. It didn’t offer much compression or elasticity and seem to be on the lower end of athletic materials.In the end, it’s a cute concept and has potential, but the design choices make it feel a little on the cheap side. If you’re after more style than function, this might still be worth trying but for true athletic performance, I’d suggest something a bit more intentional.

  This dress gets it… the size chart doesn’t
  This tennis dress is super cute—sporty, flattering, and designed with a clever pattern that actually adds shape. I love the way it gives me a bit more curve, especially since I’m working with a fuller bust and narrower hips. It’s rare to find a dress that balances that out visually without clinging in weird ways.The fabric is soft and stretchy, the kind you can move in all day. Whether it’s for tennis, golf, or just a sporty day out, it has that breezy, functional vibe without sacrificing style.But the size chart is off by a mile. I’m 5’2″, 130 lbs, with a DD chest and slim hips. I ordered a large based on the chart, but should’ve trusted my instincts and gone with a medium. The large is just too roomy—especially in the hips and waist, where it should’ve had a snugger, more tailored fit. The top half is tolerable, but overall, it feels like the dress isn’t doing my shape any favors, even though the design wants to.

  Quality athletic dress
  This tennis dress is a standout among others I’ve purchased. The fit was superb, and the side gusset really helps to create more of an hourglass shape. The material is thick, has nice stretch and is durable feeling. The garment is actually constructed with care without exposed elastic or sloppy seams. The fit is true to size and the built in bra is comfortable and not an after thought. The one issue I have is that the detached shorts are about two sizes smaller than the dress… I purchased a Large and they fit more like a small. Overall great find.
