Very pretty
This is a really cute skirt, and I love the color of the material. It does have a white shorter liner inside, so you don’t need to worry about it being see-through. I do wish the material had a bit more breathability, because I’m here in the summer, so it’s obviously super hot! But I think I’ll save this for when it turns fall, it’s going to look great!

Flowy, Floral and Fabulous
This Kate Kasin Smocked High Waisted Maxi Skirt with Slit is beachy, flowy and vibrant. I’m searching for an orange top I can wear with it. The skirt is comfortable and the waistband is stretchy. It fits true to size. I can’t wait for summer to wear this to a summer picnic.

Great spring/summer skirt
I really like how this skirt fits and feels. I wear it a little higher with a cropped top and it looks great. I’m short (5’3″) so the skirt comes down just above my ankles unlike the model in the photos. It flows nicely and the liner does a great job of preventing any see-through. My only qualm is that it is unusually staticky. I tried spraying it with some water and putting lotion on my legs but the cling persisted.

Lovely Skirt
This is a very pretty skirt, made of lightweight, flowy fabric. The material is thin, but resilient, and it includes a built in underskirt for modesty. With that protection, I love the subtle translucence of the material, giving a bit of a glowing aura to the wearer. It’s fun, flirty, and comfy.

New wardrobe staple!
A bright, colorful skirt that is lightweight. The outer skirt is a thin chiffon-like material, but it is fully lined so can definitely be worn without anything under it. The description says it is a “beach skirt”, and it would certainly work in that setting. It’s washable and, as I said, lined so if it got wet it wouldn’t be see through and would dry quickly. However, as a non-beach person, that won’t be where I wear it. In fact, it’s nice enough to wear to work with a pretty t-shirt or simple blouse. The slit is fun but easy to stitch up some if it’s too high for you. I like it. Will definitely be wearing it to work this summer with sandals. Much cooler than jeans! I ordered an XL, which fit fine on my size 16/18 body even though my waist is a bit thick. The elastic waist makes it easy on, easy off, and capable of wearing even if you gain or lose a few pounds. Very forgiving! This is going to be a wardrobe staple. At this price point, I may even get one or two more in different prints. 😀

Odd slit placement
I knew that the skirt had a slit, but I didn’t realize where the slit was placed. It sits right over my left knee. This is kind of awkward, in my opinion. I expected it to be in the back or on the side. I’ll probably just sew up the slit. The skirt is full enough that a slit really isn’t necessary to be functional.The pattern is nice, and the material is lightweight. It does tend to be a little bit staticky. The skirt has a built in half-slip that ends at the top of the slit. It is a functional slip, so you cannot see undergarments through the material.
