Great Buy For The Money!
Y’all! Buy. The. Dress. !! For the price, you will NOT find anything better! It is absolutely lovely. Drapes well. Fits well. The top is heavier than expected and has a little “give” to it. I added a belt to dress it up and am so pleased with the purchase. I ordered the 22w and it’s plenty large enough, true to size. Very pleased with this purchase!

Belle of the Ball
I spotted this dress as I searched for an outfit to wear for formal occasions. What caught my eye was the lovely lace over the beige underskirt and the empire waist cut. I’m only 5’2″ in height and apple shaped, so most formal wear needs massive alterations to fit me. Not so with this wonderful dress! The length came down to my ankles giving me a full length without worry of tripping on my heels. The waist was a true empire style which fits my apple shape perfectly. The black upper part of the dress fit well except for the wrap area. It was loose on me due to my not being quite so busty. However, I wore a comfortable black sports bra under it which gave me the support and modesty I prefer and seamlessly worked with the upper black fabric of the dress. While the waist was not stretchy, I followed the size directions and ended up with a perfect fit. I sat, danced, and hung out at the party in total comfort while I received many compliments on my attire.I am giving serious consideration to purchasing a second dress although I only attend a few formal events each year. All three versions are beautiful and unique. If you are like me, short and apple shaped, I would recommend this dress to you.

Stretchy everywhere except the waist.
This is a lovely gown with just enough sparkle to catch the eye without being ostentatious. The fabrics are soft and silky. The sleeves and skirt are long enough to make it comfortably through a short time in chilly weather. The skirt flows beautifully with your movement. But!The bicep and shoulders on the top were tight. Like pulled tight enough to see through across my shoulders. My arms are very large, and I could have lived with the tightness since there’s so much stretch in the fabric, but there was more to this fail.Yall, I took measurements before I ordered. I reviewed the size guide, which was really only useful to me with the waist measurement. I ordered a size up to make sure there was plenty of room to be comfortable while sitting, driving, etc. I looked like a tube of toothpaste that had been squeezed from the middle. There is no shape wear on earth that could have possibly rescued that situation. Once it was off and I could get a full breath again I realized I would never survive several hours in it. It was so bad I actually didn’t attend the event I bought it for.

The dress was heavy on top and the bottom looked like a Halloween costume. Just wasn’t flattering on me and I returned it.

Order one or two sizes up then what you normally wear
Pay very close attention to the measurements guide. I normally wear a size 24 or 3x and I went with a 6X for this dress and it fit perfectly. It’s very pretty and looks more expensive than the cost.

Perfect dress for my sons wedding
This was the sixth black dress I tried for my son’s wedding and this one was perfect!For fitting…. I followed the directions on measurements and ordered the recommended size. I usually wear a 20W but was recommended a 22W. So I went with that. Perfect fitting, I’m 5’5” so the skirt hit me just right on the front of my legs. No alterations needed. The only issue was the front part it does flop open so I had to pin it to stay closed. Some ladies may like the more open look but I do not. A nice broach or fancy pin would work as well but I just used a safety pin and colored it black so it blended in on the top of the dress.I had many compliments throughout the night. Comfortable to wear and highly recommend.

Very flattering for larger bodies, Tight around the arms, Deep Cleavage, Sensory Warning
I purchased XXL (the size chart says this is an 18W-20W), my usual dress size.I’m 5’6, 265 lbs. Beneath I am wearing a 46DDD bra, shapewear, and a lace camisole to cover my bust.The dress is extremely flattering. The delicate fabric was delivered without any damage or odd smells. I do take issue with a few minor details:The upper portion of the dress is not very stretchy. I’m a large woman and large women tend to have large upper arms. I understand the intention was for it to be form-fitting, however, there are fabrics out there that would hug my arm without being so tight. It was difficult to adjust the fabric around my arms (was easy to take off though!)The bust is also… very deep. I got a lace camisole to cover up a bit. I’m glad I did, otherwise I would have much more cleavage out which might work for some people but not for meeeeeMost important: If you are autistic or struggle with sensory overload please be aware that the skirt fabric might be too much for you. The shapewear under my dress is protecting my midsection from the horrible seam between the top and the skirt touching me but the hem of the skirt is a potential issue after an extended period of wearing it.
