Just what I needed

I have a hard time getting hats that aren’t too big. Even baseball hats where you can adjust the back — they usually have too much fabric and sort of bunch up when I do that. Or just look like my head is lost in the hat. OK, I don’t have a pinhead but it’s smaller than average I guess. This hat fits perfectly. So it might not be great for someone with a bigger gourd.It also dried quickly after I (hand)washed it.Great hat! Just bought a 2nd one in another color.

Good summertime run-around cap
Unlike cotton caps that trap sweat, this cap is made of lightweight “recycled” polyester. The thin fabric and vents on both sides help to air out sweat from getting trapped under the cap. The fit is pretty good with a velcro strap adjustment on the back.It is labeled as UPF 50…but I can’t attest to that given there’s no way for the consumer to measure its effectiveness. Just like sunscreen, one can only take the word of the manufacturer. Besides, I wonder if the UPF protection will wear off after the cap gets washed a few times.

I live in the PNW, we don’t handle heat/sun well, lol! Loved this for visiting Florida. Very breathable, reflected heat because it’s white. The material is stretchy so it’s not too tight on your head. Highly recommend, especially for vacation or theme park.
