nice skirt
I’m 5’6 and 145 pounds and I got it in a size small, in the pic I’m pointing to where the waistband hits so you see how high it hits. It’s really stretchy in the waist band so it’s easy to pull it on. Also, I’m in 4 inch heels so I look 5’10

A high-quality skirt
This is a very nice skirt. I am 5’4”, 130 lbs and it is longer on me than as shown, which is fine with me. It is about 1.5-2 inches above my knee. I ordered the XS and it fits perfectly. The ponte material is great as it hangs nice and won’t wrinkle. Just exactly what I wanted at a great price. I will be getting the navy one as well. A nice, versatile travel piece.

Great skirt, but plan for length shrinkage
Excellent quality mid-weight ponte knit, that has slight stretch, but is not clingy. The fabric is thick enough to not show every bump in your clothing, yet not too thick to be cumbersome. Sizing is accurate. The style is flattering and with the slight flare at the hemline. The fit is figure-forgiving and not movement constricting. The wide and firm waistband is flexible enough to pull on, but firm enough do not roll over.After machine machine washing and drying there was no piling or fading or overall problems. However, there was a 1.5 inch in length shrinkage after machine washing and drying. That would probably not be a problem and to an advantage for someone with longer legs, but I’m only 5’2 inches tall.This wardrobe staple is well made to bridge seasons, attractive with tights and or boots and a sweater in the winter, or cooler tops in the summer. (I like to wear 5″ biker shorts underneath for both modesty and shape wear.) This value-priced skirt is a good investment. Due to it’s excellent material quality and workmanship it can both last for years and be versatile enough to wear to casual events, shopping, the office, or to more dressy events.Unfortunately, I had to return this skirt due to the shrinkage. I had purchased this A-line version after Amazon Essentials pencil skirt had sold out of the size and colors I wanted to purchase. That skirt had the perfect amount of after-laundering length shrinkage to make it knee-length on me (2.5″). I had purchased two pencil skirts, but wanted more colors, especially the black one. So, if the A-line version works for you, snap up more colors.

Perfect Skirt!
Love this skirt. Great, sturdy material. Yes it is a little loose fitting, but it’s exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful if styled correctly. Paired with a long, fitted sweater or boxy short jacket, it looks great! I am normally a small, so I ordered a small and extra small to see which sizing I liked. As a latina, I carry my weight in a certain area 😉 So while extra small did fit, it was too tight fitting for the look I wanted. I’ll save the tight fit for my pencil skirts 🙂 So I opted for a small and bought it 2 more colors.In the new batch of the skirts I received, the black one I ordered did have a couple stains and the material was thinner than the other 2. Looked almost used. I am exchanging it, hopefully I will have better luck. Will update my review if I don’t.

Slightly large
This skirt is ok but does run a bit large. It also flares at the bottom which isn’t super flattering. I’ll keep as it will do the job for work, but I would prefer a straight fit. The description does say it’s an a-line but the photos deceptively show a straight fit on the model

Great deal on a short skirt
This is a great quality skirt! It’s short for me, but I like it. It came a little wrinkled and I didn’t steam it yet as you may be able to tell. I got a size M and I’m 5’9, 165 (but carry weight on top, apple shaped), S or M in underwear, size 6 in stretchy jeans and size 10 in non stretchy. It’s really cute with a nicer tee or a button down… a cardigan or a blazer…very versatile! it’s a heavy weight stretchy fabric with zero transparency. I like how it kind of gives me the semblance of hips which I don’t have, but if you do have them already idk how it would look. Will be able to wear in winter too with tights. I recommend for a nicer, short skirt!

Jupe d’excellente qualité avec un tissu stretch de très bonne épaisseur et ultra doux…..Pour 1m50 54 kgs = Taille M. Taille qui ne serre pas et longueur parfaite juste au- dessus du genou…peut être portée aussi bien en été qu’en hiver et donne un look élégant…

The skirt itself is fine, made of a comfortable material and being plain black can be paired with tons of different clothing options. Not thin by any means but not too heavy, probably best worn for autumn, winter and spring months rather than in summer.My issue is with the sizing. I ordered an XS and, being a size 8, I thought this would fit without any problems but it’s noticeably too large for my waist. Perhaps it’s a bad translation from US sizing to UK but that needs to be addressed.
