Order one size up!
I love this skirt. I read the warning about it running small so I bought one size larger than usual and it fit perfectly. Thanks Amazon for the warning.I did have to reorder though because the button hole stitching was coming out so I will send this one back.The second one arrived with issues at the button hole again. I decided to keep it and sew the threads in more strongly so the button doesn’t start to fray.

I love this skirt. It is very comfortable, and perfect length for me. It is well made, and nice quality denim. I’m thinking of getting another one. It’s definitely a perfect summer go-to for me…it goes well with all of my Tees and Tanks !

Stinks
This skirt smells SO BAD. I have washed it twice with strong detergent and it still smells as bad as before it was even washed. Do not buy this. It smells toxic.

I mostly like the skirt, buuutt…
I liked this skirt. Its elastic waist provides a nice fit, and the back slit is not too high, but enough to allow for movement. However, the pockets seem to gape open a bit; and the worst thing about it is that it smells very strongly of mothballs! I’m going to see if it washes out, I guess, but buyer beware if you’re sensitive to mothballs.

I first followed the size chart and bought M, but it turned out too big for my 30″ waist and made me look like a sack. So I returned it and bought S, which was actually the Amazon recommended size. The denim is thick and has good weight, and I love that it falls just to the knee (I’m 5’3″). It’s not loose, it fits, but there is a lot of stretchiness at the elasticized waist, so the waistline still feels a bit “bunchy” to me and I would have preferred a XS if XS existed for a more svelte silhouette. Will be keeping this S size though, because it is comfy, easy to walk in, and as long as the elastic at the waist holds out, I think this skirt is sturdy and could last for several years.
