I wore this on my anniversary, paired with knee high black boots and a white turtle neck underneath it. I feel like the look was very 60s, but we went to a jazz super club, so I think it probably worked well. My only complaint is that the placement of two of the buttons looked a little like cheap gold nipples on me, but I could get over it.

I wasn’t sure about this dress. I’m in my late 60s, about 20 pounds overweight, and I’m short waisted. Dresses are always a crap shoot.This one is a winner. The princess lines are incredibly flattering, showing off my assets, while hiding my less than perfect abs. The fit is perfect, the color is gorgeous, and the button detail is a nice touch.Just one thing about those buttons: If you’re large busted, like I am, the third row down of buttons lands right on your nipples. While that’s probably no big thing if you’re an A or even B cup, if you’re my size 38DDD, they look like pasties on a stripper! So, I removed the bottom two rows of buttons. It still looks great.So, other than needing a minor buttonectomy, it was absolutely perfect. Flattering for most body types, easy care, versatile, it’s a winner.
