It’s cute, but I got the wrong size even though I went based off of the sizing guide. Ordered an 8, should have ordered a 6. I’ll be returning it though because it’s more corporate office than cocktail.

First of all, I was shocked by how low quality the fabric was at this price point. I could see it being 15 dollars on Shein with what I got. The lace was not detailed at all like the picture and the way the fabric gathers on the waistline and stomach actually adds bulk. Not worth it. The zipper was already catching as well, even while not being worn. The color is the only thing accurately portrayed.

Just what I was looking for.
I’m 5’3, 130lbs, curvy/athletic build and a medium worked perfect for me. I wanted a dress I felt good in, a little sexy but not over the top, just enough to make my husband proud and me feel good on a difficult day. I wore this to my brother in laws funeral. Material was soft and stretchy, thick enough so it wasnt see through. Part of the service was outdoors, so the only thing I didnt factor in was wind, but the way the slit is, theres still enough coverage to not show anything above mid thigh, so for other buyers that’d be the only thing to consider. Luckily I found a safety pin and pinned it for the outdoor service part. I even felt the lace wasnt too restricting of movement, and there were many many hugs given that day.

Lace top and fabric not as expected
5’3″ 137 lbs tried S and M. Because the fabric is stretchy both sizes work. Feels comfortable. Problem is the fabric is not substantial and looks cheap. It’s like the rayon fabric you find on cheap blouses. the transparent lace area is not as lowcut as shown on the advertisement picture. I don’t know if it’s because of my skin color but it’s not that noticeable on me. Have returned…
