Order one size up unless you want a tight fitted skirt
Needed one size larger, a 4X than recommended 3X size. For reference, I have a 40″ waist and 50″ hips. The skirt hipline measured only 45″ (see photo) which is why it fit too tight and hugged my hips, but if you want a tight fitting skirt. The waist fit okay. The skirt material is a mid-weight ponte’ knit and the color was a pretty warm pale pink. The fabric is stretchy, soft, and comfortable. However I prefer Amazon Essentials ponte’ pencil skirt which has a back placket vent instead of a slit opening. The Amazon Essentials skirt is a heavy weight knit which does not show ridges of undergarments and the XXL fits my curvy figure. Ponte’ knit skirts have a tendency to shrink lengthwise 2-4 inches, so keep that in mind when deciding if either skirt is right for you and before altering the hemline.

Liked it so much I bought a second one in a different color. I’m the same exact size. But it was easily 3 inches longer than the first one…Now to get it hemmed.Now I’m scared to buy any more.

Very cute skirt
I really like this skirt but it was a TAD bit too tight for me to feel comfortable. I am 5’5″ 110 lbs and have a 26″ waist & 37″ hips. I am wearing a size S in the pictures. Other than that the fabric is thick and not see through. I love where it hits just below the knee and the slit in the back is perfect… not too big and revealing. It does taper a bit as it goes down, if you like that.
