The claspe is plastic. Heavy. Pretty.
The claspe is plastic. I bought as a gift and the plastic clasp makes it look cheap. It’s a very large clasp and pretty design, but for the money it should be metal. But, plastic won’t tarnish or irritate one’s skin. Nor leave blueish black marks on one’s neck skin. The stones are beautiful with knots in between each stone. One section was knotted too tight so it’s not straight as what happens when you first buy a strand of pearls. Some stones have black spots on them. Idk what the substance is, but it’s hard and doesn’t rub off. These black spots on the pink colored stones are very noticeable. It’s a heavy necklace. Very sturdy except for the plastic claspe. I’m going to give it as a gift as I intended because I don’t have the time to return and get something else, and it is very pretty. Maybe it could be priced about $10 less.
