I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I was pleasantly surprised that this has enough grip to hold my fine strands, I have to kind of finesse it to get the bulk of it distributed pretty evenly so it will close. But that’s fine with me because it works so well. I really love this actually so cute too. Takes a little bit to get the hang of it since I haven’t really used it before. But really good overall.

This is pretty good! I’d say I have quite a bit of hair according to my hair stylist, and this was okay to get on. I definitely need some practice bc it was hard to do at first to make it look right, but I’m getting there. I’d say if you think you have quite a bit of hair that’s on the straighter end, I’d say this is okay. If you think you have a lot of hair and/or it has texture like major waves or curls, maybe not. It was definitely smaller than I pictured; however, it works pretty well in my hair. It has great hold and grip, and I don’t feel like it will fall. However, I predict it won’t last too long. The spring system seems weak just from the few times I tried it. I’m fine with it breaking at some point, but if it is soon, I’ll be mad. Overall, recommend for those that believe it can work for them! Super cute and love the tortoise color option!

Good idea but durability was a miss
I really want to like this, I really do.Tying my hair with a piece of stretchy hair tie can sometimes crease my hair very noticeably. I want to reduce the amount of damage done to my hair so I bought this clip. At first, it’s great, this clip can contain all of my hair and I think I look quite cute in it.However, as time goes on, I realize how often my hair on one side slides right off the clip and I have to re-clip my hair every once in a while.When I finally found a way to make the hair clip stay longer, not long after two teeth’s of the clip fell off. Luckily, there’s two, but I don’t believe much in the quality of this one either.Good idea, but wish there was more durability. These clips weren’t cheap.

broke in 2 weeks
cute but both clips broke on me less than 2 weeks in. i have long straight hair not super thick but maybe thicker than average (that’s what she said). was hoping these would work for me as im always on the look for something that won’t break with the limited $ i have rn! oh well. they weren’t complicated to put your hair up with at least but better for thin hair.

Would recommend!
My order came with no damage right on time. It has a deep brown and black clip and an all black clip (from what I got). It’s pretty easy to clip open and onto your hair, however I have hair on the thicker side so it doesn’t stay in all the time. I think for the money it is definitely worth it, the color and functionality is spot on.

Not like other hair clips. These ones don’t shatter when you accidentally drop it on the ground, and the shape of the clip holds the hair in place and does not fall out, like some other clips do. The “teeth” hold lots of hair, which is what I was looking for. Also very stylish and comes in two colours! Love them so much that I bought 12 of them to hand out his gifts. Highly recommend!

This is brilliant. I have long, thick hair and have always loved this style of hair product. As well as obviously keeping my hair off my face, I like the fact it makes my hair look longer than a ponytail. However this individual brand is the first time for years I’ve been fully happy with one. It’s hold is really good, it lasted all day and evening, whereas in the past I often had to readjust it. The clip at the top gently held my hair, without tugging and making my roots sore as with previous products. I would recommend.

Not made for thick heavy hair. Only use it if you have thin hair. I could barely clip it, if I did it would pop back open again, and the hinge on one of them broke on the first few uses. It also arrived damaged despite being in protective packaging which is an indicator of the quality and durability of the plastic. It’s also not shaped to your head (too flat) – or maybe I just have an egg head lol.
