Love them! Size up based on what you’re looking for.
I LOVE THESEFor sizing reference I am typically a 27/28/m/4-6 in jeans and shorts depending on the brand and cut. I am 5’8” and an athletic but curvy build. For this cut of Levi’s I find I always need to size up since they are a little narrower in the hips/butt area. I own 501 shorts in size 29 and they fit and I wear them but they are snug and they appear really short because of it. I sized up more in these to a 30 and they look a little longer, the thighs are no longer fitted and my butt isn’t “smooshed” (IYKYK). I do have a good amount of gapping in the waist but the shorts aren’t going to fall down or really move around and the looseness adds to the comfort when sitting down. These are nice enough and cheap enough that I’d even consider alteration if the waist was bothering me.

I’m ordering these in more colors! These are so cute and comfortable for reference- I’m 5’2″, 115lbs., (37″ measurement around the biggest part of my hip/butt area) normally wear a size 25 in Levi’s jeans and the size 25 in these shorts fit me perfectly. I do suggest going with the size that fit you best and that you like best in Levi’s jeans. This size fits fitted on me but I am a bit curvy for a skinny girl, so if you want a looser fit then size up. These are not tight on me, just fitted, and not loose and they are exactly the way I want them, very comfortable, too! My new favorite pair of shorts! I love how they’re short but do cover by butt when I walk which is perfect, short shorts, but classy short shorts. Perfect!!! Levi’s you are the best, I love you!!!!

Durable Denim/Sizing (see details with weight/height)
Sizing on the chart wanted me to get like a 33 and people said to upsize, so I’m not sure what went wrong, but I will say I am an 8/10 depending on the brand and I got 29s in these and 30s in some others. They fit great and 29 are usually 8/10 when converted to US sizes. I will add I’m 4’11 and 138lbs so sizing is typically a little weird due to my height. The material on these is stiff like real denim is supposed to be, so there’s no wiggle room, which is fine they are durable and made to last. My only reason for 4 stars is the thighs are a bit wider than I was expecting/hoping. I also needed to return a 30 for a 29 and instead of making me order a new pair they are sending a replacement and letting me send in the other pair by a certain date for no charge, which I thought was great!

These are really nice thick denim shorts. Definitely don’t have very much stretch. I actually already have a pair of Levi’s in a size 24 and the size 24 shorts seemed like it was a little bit smaller than my jeans, so I think I need a 25 or 26 if I ordered them again. They’re definitely a lot shorter than they look in the picture. My butt was 100% hanging out of the back. Not really the look I’m going for lol

Absolutely love these shorts! The fit is amazing, snug in all the right places without being too tight. I’m 5’3″ and 137 lbs, and the size 28 fits perfectly. So cute, but the sizing is way off. Reading reviews, I ordered a size 28 and they are so small. For reference, I am 140 pounds. They were also so short… like “crawling up places they shouldn’t” short.

Fits perfectly
Cute Jean shorts. Didn’t realize they are button fly. Doesn’t bother me but some people might prefer zip. I’m 5’7, 149 lbs, waist 30”, hips 39”. I got a 30 (one size up from what the size chart recommended) and they fit perfectly. So I would definitely recommend going up a size. I probably could have squeezed into a 29 but would have been uncomfortable.

For reference, I’m usually a 27 in most all jeans. Knowing how Levi’s can either be spot on or run small depending on the style, I went with a 28. The 28’s fit great, and are a little roomy, but when you sit down, they aren’t pushing and pinching and creating any uncomfortable pressure anywhere. They still look great, and just provide more of a comfort factor with a size up. So, if you’re going to sit on the boat, or camping chairs or back of a bike, I’d say size up so you don’t have a ton of pressure when you’re sitting.

Super cute shorts, not too short or long. Yes they have the paper label, it’s the outlet style, hence the price. That being said they fit and look exactly the same so I’m fine with it. The measurements are weird In the pictures, I went with the measurements off the Levi’s website and I would say they fit true to size, they don’t have any stretch but they do “loosen” in the waste and leg as you wear them.
