It was perfect!
I am 6’3” and weight 160 but this dress was great! I got an XL and even though the size chart for the waist is 33.1, I was around 38-39 waist but it still fits and looks good! Got black because I was afraid that it would be see through but its not which I something I love. Definitely comfortable and flexible, would get it again in a different color should something come up.

Almost perfect
This dress is stunning. Everything I was looking for to wear to an upcoming conference. Unfortunately I washed it alone, with 3-4 color catchers, and extra dye from the black skirt still changed the color of the white top to an ivory or cream tone. Blech. I’ll deal with it because I do not have time to repurchase. But it’s annoying. Aside from that it really is perfect. I wear a 38 DDD cup and I’m about a size 12 right now and it fits like a glove.Updated to add pic

Lovely funeral dress
Material was nice a thick. This was for a funeral so I felt it was the perfect level of conservative that I don’t usually go for. In fact this may be my funeral dress for many years to come because I doubt I’ll wear it for any other reason. But it’s a nice dress! And it has pockets! I added a belt at the waist.

I looove this dress. I’m 5’1″ and 120lbs and the Small is just roomy enough to comfortable, but not baggy at all. What I like most is that it’s not too long for a short person like me. Sometimes these “knee length” dresses end up going almost to the floor. The quarter length sleeves fit snugly but don’t make a sausage arm effect. The pockets are handy but it sure looks odd when you have things inside them, as they’re right on the side of my hips.The shape is romantic and timeless. Could easily wear at work or on a date and get away with both.

I ordered the small size. While it fits me, it’s a tad bit loose, so I think the extra small would have fit perfectly. If you’re planning to order this, I recommend sizing down. I’m 5’4” and around 120 lbs. I wore a black belt around the waistline to give it a more flattering look. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dress! I’m a huge fan of retro style and wore this to my church and I received lots of compliments!

SIZE DOWN. Do not listen to other reviews to size up, I listened to them and now I look like I am barely surviving the Great Plague of Marseille. Just give me a home made wax dipped candle and an apron. I look like I was born in the 1700s. I have more space in here than I know what to do with. I could fit 2 people in here. It does not look like the photo. The photo is perfect fit making it look like professional office attire. What I’m wearing makes me look like a peasant of the 17th century. The neck is so big and the waste is not flattering. I am 5’8, 190 lbs and got the XL I could have gotten an XS and it would fit perfectly. Strange it’s so big. The material is see through and very stretchy
