see through, overpriced
i tried both the yellow and the pink in an XL based on my measurements. the yellow is very see-through and feels a bit cheap, and it was extremely wrinkled from the get go. i did not expect the smocked back, and overall the dress was too big for it to look like it did on the models. ill be returning and reordering in a size down to see if it changes the look.pros: color accurate, has pockets, thin/light material so might be good for warm climatescons: runs large, is very wrinkly, NO BUILT IN CHEST SUPPORT.if i bought it at full price, i would be incredibly dissatisfied with what i received.

Look, I promise Scarlet Darkness doesn’t pay me to love their stuff. It’s just hard not to!!!This particular dress was a little too fancy looking to wear during errands by itself, it gives a very Belle dancing with Beast vibe, however with a couple of accessories it becomes perfectly acceptable errand clothes.I will say the yellow is not as rich in person and very muted. That’s my only negative in this oneIt is soft, yet sturdy, light yet warm, flown, yet structured.The sizing is on point, and this dress is flattering on multiple figures.And can we discuss the pockets?!?Who doesn’t love pockets on a dress. But, the biggest issue with dresses with pockets is they have to be either tiny, part of a very full dress, or they just look bulky or awkward.However this company must employ witches to make their dresses.Somehow magically they are able to take a thin delicate dress, put LARGE pockets in it and they are almost invisible.Buy this dress!!! Then go to the scarlet darkness store and buy a bunch more.It’s going to be hard to find another dress of this quality for this price point.

Great dress for all sizes!
The dress is beautiful and the fabric is light. The shoulder material is a single layer, not a sleeve. I think it would be a great dress for someone who does not require a strapped bra. I am a 38HH so I cannot wear strapless bras or the clear strap bras. Or you can find a bra with complimentary color.
